Well, the hair is grey, anyway. Very, very grey. Also, very, very short. My mood is up. We’ve had over a week of excellent weather now. One day at 18º C. last week, today it’s sunny and 17º, Wednesday it’ll be 19. It makes such a difference to my mood.
The camellias are in bloom. Crocuses and Daff’s as well. A few plants suffered from a bad night of below zero temperatures in January and I’m waiting to see if they’ll recover or if they need to be replaced all together.
Here’s our test wall in the Zuber room, soon to be red room.
Grey is good, I am shooting for white. In the beard at least. Glad you are doing well and are happy. Hugs

It is fine to be grey … if you are also “in the pink.” ;o)
Also, I prefer being grey … to being gray. Don’t know why.

Ouch! And you’re not even 40. If you were ginger you could still be in your glory days. 😀

I had my first greys in my teens! By my early 30’s the sides were already noticeably grey 😀

Gingers are freaks. No offense.

Have you seen the righteous-indignation-fest about KIA’s post over at Branyan’s? I’m starting to understand the frustrations with them. I did enjoy the first couple of days of discussion though, but I guess all these things back into the same corners (both sides).

I haven’t. I usually like his take-downs. Got a link.
Yes, the Branyan’s are a strange type of stone. Fantastic liars, though. Watch, next week he’ll have anothe rpost up concerning objective morality even though he’s been shown to be wrong.

Perhaps the red room is a subconscious attempt at being ginger.
Both look great! 😊

Very nice, although I believe that could be more accurately described as the Silver Fox look.

Do foxes have their hair turn grey and thin as well? 😀

That’s the beauty of the silver, scalp shines through dark hair but the silver makes you glow. 😀
I have longish dark hair and am turning grey strand by strand, makes me want to yank them out! Grrrr….

Isn’t it the middle of the night in your land?

Indeed it was the middle of the night, I am not an early to bed type. Unfortunately for everyone else I am not a morning person either… 😀

Good to hear you’re feeling chipper, Pink. These mood balloons come and go; it’s in their nature it seems. 🙂

… in no small part thanks to that longer comment you sent me last week. That and Tish Farrell pointing me to the microdosing study (which I’m joining this week!)

My hair is grey down the middle but black along the sides. I’m part skunk, I believe.

-snarls at Pinky-no-more- I hate that guys look so bloody distinguished when they go grey, esp. when it’s premature. Somehow the grey makes a young face look even younger. As for the Red Room…oh my. Even from that one, small peek, I know it’s going to be my favourite. I’ve always loved deep, rich colours and that red is perfect.

Must be your Hungarian genes! The deep jewel colours (ruby, sapphire, emerald) were/are very well used in eastern Europe.

lol – Must be as my whole house is pretty much a deep green [on the inside] with highlights of red!

Love the grey. Since Anderson did it so young, there really is no stigma anymore. Grey looks great on some people.

The grey looks great…as does the beginning of the Red room. Very cosy & inviting.

you look like an action hero about to kick serious ass. Love the red. I have a small bathroom that is a dark red, something like a red velvet cake.

partly 🙂 My spouse also started turning gray when he was a teen and is pretty much white now. His is long and he looks like a biker/ Vietnam era vet. With the short hair, you have that ex-special forces thing going on 🙂

The grey has no detrimental effect. You have always been quite handsome. I keep my hair rather short, so my grey isn’t as visible, except in the beard, where it’s growing prominent.
The Red Room always makes me think of the place Jane Eyre was sent for punishment as a child – sumptuous, yet vaguely threatening.

So you mean if I have no hair, no grey will be visible? 😛

Precisely. A lot of guys in my cultural stratum have chosen to shave their heads, which is hip and edgy for a white man, rather than let themselves go grey. I haven’t gone that far, but I do buzz it very short from time to time. I think of it as ‘starting over.’
