Kim Davis’ marriages were before she was “Saved”. This matters: she is allowed, like everyone, to admit that she was wrong. I did not expect to be standing up for Kim Davis. She should give up her job, rather than refuse to do it; but she can change her mind.

-grin- Yes, Road to Damascus moments should be allowed. What a pity they rarely result in tolerance.

Sort of. But wouldn’t real repentance come in the form of returning to her first husband? 😉

unfortunately her change of mind is pretty much on a whim of what she wants and when she wants it. one can change one’s mind, but if she’s so biblical then she should be out trying to kill people who work on the Sabbath, rather than picking and choosing what she wants to claim her god hates.

Reminds me of the saying with god everything is permissible as long as you can repent

I wonder what WS and Arthur would have made of it? It was clever though. I didn’t expect it to be G&S though!

How could I have missed this?! The writers are very clever. I love their lyrics.
