      LOL!

I’ve no issue with consensual BDSM in practice (even if the D/s male/female is patriarchal) but, surprisingly, I’m not too keen on the ‘Eve is the source of all sin’ myth. A condom advert might have been more appropriate.

      Or a reverse image 🙂

He may be a sexy man in uniform, but how many other women has he been with? You can’t win the war at home if you pick up VD from one of those good time guys …

I’d personally prefer a good glass of cava/wine/champagne (or all of them) and some nice olives and good conversation with him. 🙂

I know I should be outraged, especially as these posters would have been taken very seriously back then but… -giggles- really? Then I think, ‘wait, those posters would have come out 70 years ago!?’ And that is kind of scary.

I love the line, “You can’t beat the Axis if you get VD.” As if getting a disease makes you less of a soldier, less of a man. I also love the implication that one soldier could single-handedly defeat all three Axis powers. And that’s before I even get to the idea that spreading STDs is all the woman’s fault.

I haven’t decided if I’m disgusted by the old ads, or if they’re just ridiculous.
