Lucky you! We had snow the day before yesterday but today it’s plus 5!! Looks like you are mowing already. .. 🙂

    • Mowing started about a fortnight ago. Our lows at night are still in the 4 to 5’s, but during the day anything from 15 to 23ish 🙂

Oh, that sounds lovely!! We won’t get those temps for awhile yet. . . in fact, we’ve still got brush covering our gardens. Must. get. that. off. . 🙂

23ish is freezing! I was just at the vet and she had her air condidtioning set to 23 and I was shivering.

If only he knew what cold was. 23C is tropical and I’m pretty sure Canadians die from exposure and uncontrolled melting if the temp reaches 33C

I’m sure JZ has a visual of me with permanent icicles hanging from my nose and ears. 🙂

Do the fallen petals stain the cement?

    • Thankfully no. I do have to give it a bit of a wash, but I’d have to anyway because over winter it gets dirty with moss here and there.

Damn. I was hoping you had discovered an appropriate and effective cleaning product.

      • In Spain I used oxalic acid and that worked incredibly well.

Never heard of it but I see it’s available here. Thanks, Pink.

      • It’s strong and toxic. Often used to clean boats and also to bleach wood. It’ll even remove surface stains from marble. For light stains you can use a very diluted formula.

Oh. It has to be non toxic… all the moss and little plants and the bee colony, donchaknow. Back to square one.

Mr.M, I think your home gives off the ‘pride of place’ vibe. It’s really quite beautiful – so stately!

    • Thanks:) Little by little we’re getting it to look “looked after”. When we first arrived there was a sort of Ms. Havisham air. Probably because the last owner was an elderly widow living on her own.

    Is envy OK, Pink?
    Cause if it isn’t I’m still envious👍😎

Part of me says, wow, how cool, I’d have so much fun decorating, renovating … then I see its sheer size and the scope of the project is beyond me these days. If it’s all we had to do, it would be fun. But. Lovely though, and good job on the grounds as well! 🙂

Gorgeous, Pinky. What’s that lovely purple bush. It doesn’t quite look like either wisteria or jacaranda?

Warrandyte has just started to green up again as summer finally loosened its stranglehold. Love autumn!

    • It’s Chinese Wisteria. But one which flowers twice, first in Spring without leaves, then the leaves come out and later in summer it flowers again (but less than in Spring.)

Aaaah. It is lovely, and it doesn’t look as if it’s as invasive as normal wisteria can be. I wonder if we can get it here.

      • I’m sure you can. You’re just around the corner from China to begin with 😀

I am loving this spring weather – warm enough to sit outside in the sun (out of the biting wind at least!) but cooling way down at night. BTW, like your dog’s cameo in that opening shot!
