This house has just come on the market. I know because I still get real-estate newsletters for our town even though we’ve already bought. It’s a very decent size, 450m2 which is 4,843 square feet. A family with children would be perfectly comfortable. The garden is on the petite side, but it’s just a 2 minute walk to the centre of town. And also very close to number 42.
The interiors are, in all, very interesting. The living room is charming- more pictures here.
Price-wise it definitely looks worth the money. They’re asking €530,000 (US$590,000). For a place in good condition in this part of the world that’s not bad at all.
Good bones, that’s the most important. And a good price too!

The price thing is insane, isn’t it? Pre-crisis people were paying prices like this for wrecks…!

Very nice….lovely wooden floors & plenty of wall space for paintings. Plus, good neighbours too.

I love their choice of colours, and even the combination of old and new things. A bit too modern for my own sensibilities, but very interesting.

Had a look at the other pictures and it is very nice, but…why are you interested? Downsizing already? Or another investment property?
p.s. your kitchen is much nicer. 🙂

LOL 😀 Neither!!! Just haven’t unsubscribed from the real-estate newsletters… I didn’t love their kitchen either. That sort of colour choice rarely stands the test of time.

lol – that’s a relief! One both counts. 😀

I don’t like the kitchen either. I admit I love looking at house for sale online, either in my area on other places, simply to be nosey & see how people have furnished/decorated their homes.

I do that too. I have for years 😀

Me too, especially when I can turn around and think, ‘yes, my place isn’t so bad after all’. 😀

For that price, I’d suspect someone was murdered there. Or a drug operation.

LOL! Much of Southern Europe still hasn’t recovered from the crisis. Especially more isolated places like this 🙂

That’s so cheap!

Great price! I wouldn’t like my front door to open straight onto the sidewalk, though.

I know! That is a bit odd; but I imagine that’s probably just because we’re used to things being a certain way. Had we grown up in a townhouse we might feel different?

Eight bedrooms! Sacre Bleu! The price is towards the upper end of Australian houses (particularly those not in big cities) but it’s much, much nicer.

But yours are super-modern homes where everything works! 😉

Does the ‘prestige’ allow them to advertise without the diagnostiques?
