Never kind the strawberries, the Hydrangea is looking magnificent! (But congrats on the strawberries all the same. Always nice growing your own stuff.) 🙂

    • This is year I added a bit of colorant to deepen the colour 😀
Have you seen a Toscana strawberry plant? They’re really showy. I got it more for the look than for fruit:

First time I’ve seen one. Looks tres posh! Ours’ we simply stuck in the dirt at the back garden. They were fine for two seasons, gave a lot of fruit, but after that …practically nothing.
I must consider replanting, but perhaps use those special pots the next time?

Any plans on plastering that Façade?

Best check with the town hall whether. there are restrictions on colour.
Thanks to a mad Architect de Batiments de France in my area everything had to be ‘ton pierre’ with the result that the town looked as if some enormous baby had had a nappy disaster.

Love the hydrangeas, and the strawberries, but I’m with Mike on the facade. I even like the weathered look. La Maison is a veritable old lady who wears her years with grace and understated pride. Don’t dress her up in frills!
