It would be a very good thing for the party and for Britain. She is a fundamentally decent human being. Competent, serious and pragmatic. If I voted in Britain, my vote would go to her. If after the Brexit vote Labour keeps Corbyn and the Tories vote in Boris Johnson- then I’ll suddenly become an ardent supporter of Brexit myself.

Sorry, Pinky, there’s a paywall on that one, but I like the sound of ‘fundamentally decent’. Part of the voter malaise worldwide, imho, is the lack of fundamentally decent politicians to vote /for/. I know that linking ‘politician’ with ‘decent’ is an oxymoron, but these days we voters don’t even have the luxury of self-deception. 😦

lol – I’d be happy with ‘decent’ too, if I could find it. Not seeing much decent in Australian politics lately, just slogan, hype and attack ads.

Well, we know she’s been in politics for ages and she’s never done anything *too* egregious during that time. No abuse of expenses, no scandals, no bad acting, no buffoonery…
