“… you ever just get tired of being alive? I’m not suicidal, but jesus christ, how many days can there be?” Tom Segura
Tom, my friend, bad question. I was born tired. I fought nurses, the doctor and forceps- but six hours later, they’d won. I was inconvenienced out of a womb at 10am. Why in the world anyone presumed I’d be ready to be up before noon is beyond me. They obviously had no idea who they were dealing with.
I’ve been tired, disappointed and desperately trying to get back into a vagina ever since I came outta one, so I feel ya, my friend. 🙂

People put such an extraordinarily silly value on being alive- as if we’d know if we weren’t…

6 hours? That’s nothing…I gave my poor Mum 5 days of pain & grief before I was reluctantly tugged out, with forceps. I still have a dent on my nose from the wrteched things. Perhaps that’s why I too am not a ‘morning’ person.

Should have just called in for womb service instead.

Clearly the time of our birth is deeply significant as to whether we are a morning or a night time person. I was born at 10.20pm when all sensible people are cosily tucked up. Still it gave my father the opportunity to get a round in at the pub before closing time (10.30 back then).

The worst is when you marry a morning person.

I did!!! Mike gets up with the sun. But it works out because we both enjoy (NEED) a few hours in the day of absolute uninterrupted silence. I have late night, he has early morning 😉

Isn’t it true, though? Sometimes don’t you wake up and think, “ugh, here we go again.” 🙂
