Happy Holidays!
Hope everyone has a great time! Thanks to all for the contributions you make to my life on such a regular basis. I didn’t know what to expect of blogging when I started a few years ago- I certainly didn’t expect I’d be able to meet such interesting, diverse and (mostly) intelligent people. Every single day you allow me to see something from a different perspective or access a new little piece of information I didn’t have before. It makes life a whole lot more interesting than living in a bubble.

He’s hiding under a blanket at the moment. It’s his new thing. A dog version of peek-a-boo 🙂

So is Snowy. Don’t know if it’s because of lack of fur and he feels the cold more, but he lies on the sofa next to my legs, and … under a blanket. We have to lift it up so he can climb up, turn round to flatten the grass, settle down, and then drape it carefully over him.

Christmas Day Standing Rib roast and 4:30pm reservations for the new Star Wars movie at an IMAX theater. Not much to open on Christmas morning as most were given early and used as they were a needed addition so why wait? We’ll be in 6 different States before we finish our Christmas visits and all by air, ugh, that is a chore but must be gotten through. Best wishes to all, I still love Christmas even though I’m now an athiest, it is the warmth of making the effort to be together with friends and family. Oh I guess two States we drove to so only four by air. We’re just getting started, so much love and good times yet to go. We always spend big for Christmas, just always have but it is the one time of year we do, the rest of the year we live pretty simply, the credit card is melting, LOL!

Darling, just because we’e atheists doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate Christmas like everyone else, with alcohol and resentment 🙂 Have fun! Don’t strangle anyone, and take one of those stomach pills (I take omeprazole) before you begin!

I am an arch-atheist that rage against the milquetoast “I believe in something” of my partner and relatives, but I still volunteered to perform at a parish function. I did it because I enjoy singing to an audience. It will be a mutual thing. Hopefully people will like my singing, and I know I’ll enjoy singing. I find it best to just go with the flow, and try not to think too much about it. 🙂
