An interesting point in life: donotgiveadamnism

Fabulous, really.

I’m only just now realizing how much of life is reflective (in the reactive rather than thoughtful sense.) I can’t quantify it precisely, but it seems to me that at the very least over 70% of reactive behaviour is based on the circumstances of the self rather than on the external action itself.

I say that because progressively, the effects of external stimuli have been considerably dampened for me. A lot of what I would have found offensive or unpleasant at 20, is entirely insignificant at 37.

The process started a while ago but is only reaching what seems to be its full maturation now. Lovely.
