The organization Faust is recommending is this one:
They not only promoted (debunked) reparative therapy (praying the gay away), but were at the now infamous conference in Uganda which led to the Kill the Gays bill.

Deary me.
“People with same-sex attractions can passionately love Jesus, serve in His body, use their gifts in the church, and experience abundant life as single people or in marriage to the opposite sex. ….
While we allow God to bring about change in our lives, we cannot dictate to God when or what He should do. Same-sex attractions may or may not change to a certain degree during our journey with God.”

I wonder if she’s describing someone in particular in that first paragraph?

Well, you are certainly “in it to win it” on this one. I admire your diligence and perseverance. In the days that I was becoming Angry Ricky, I was tempted by Exodus International and other groups. I never went into reparative therapy only because I didn’t want the ex to know I was even thinking about it. Looking back, that decision may have saved my life. I’m glad to see you fighting the good fight.

Katy Faust’s biggest worry is her husband is more than likely gay: http://variouspontifications.com/2015/08/14/grace-church-seattle-to-implement-a-genitalia-inspection-for-all-members/

Taken from an interview with an aussie interviewer :
‘TONY JONES: I was gonna make that point. You started blogging anonymously. What happened? Why did you go public, as it were?
KATY FAUST: I didn’t. I was outed by a gay blogger who felt like I needed to be held accountable for my stance and the truth is that I would not have filed a brief with the Supreme Court, I wouldn’t be having this interview with you today, because I never intended to be involved in the legal fight, but because I was outed in the name of love and tolerance, I am talking with you today.’
tsk tsk… was that you, Pinky?

You probably noticed I came down on her like a ton of bricks. The result was she stopped allowing comments on her blog and will now return to obscurity 🙂
