Just Merveilleux?

Life at № 42

Sorry, sorry, sorry

Sorry I haven’t been answering comments or reading posts or doing anything else in blogland this past week. Real-land work has been all-consuming. We have guests arriving from England in three days. The boiler conveniently broke down four days ago and was replaced TODAY. Thank goodness because not having hot water for guests would have been appalling.

I’m also trying to whittle down the list of properties we want to buy. Exhausting. And it’s been very hot. I’ll be back soon.

Don’t apologise. We can’t expect to monopolise you, you obviously have a life. Enjoy the company of your visitors and relax, we’ll still be here when they’ve gone and when you have time.

If you can get a boiler replaced in three days then you deserve your place at the head of the queue in the Post Office. Enjoy your visitors.

LOL. Mike says it’s something to do with my colonial roots. Apparently even if I phrase something as a question it comes out sounding like an instruction.

I feel utterly rejected, deserted, and cast aside – unforgivable! 😉
